Possibly the funniest animated film ever. Sully, a big blue furry monster, and his buddy Mike, a green, one-eyed, beach ball of a monster, work at the Monsters, Inc. power company collecting screams by scaring little kids. This is hazardous but necessary work - children may be toxic to monsters (a single touch might be lethal!) but the city of Monstropolis is powered by screams and is facing a huge "scream shortage." A brilliantly original film that celebrates friendship and powerfully illustrates that even when friends argue they still look out for one another. And if you like this film you may also enjoy two other PIXAR productions - Toy Story and A Bug's Life - though the latter has some "potty humor" concerns such as dung beetles, and flies ordering "poo poo platters."
